Let’s provide ‘Sahayata’ to the underprivileged people of India

Founded in 2013, Sahayata Foundation was born with the intention of empowering the underprivileged. Sahayata means ‘help’ and simply put, we want to give people the sahayata in building a better future for themselves. It’s been 9 years and we pride ourselves on having grown from strength to strength.

Survival of the kindest and most educated

What breaks our hearts the most is living each day with the knowledge that there are many people who live without the basic bare necessities of life. With the aim of empowering every person with amenities required for basic survival, we are on a quest of providing food, clothing, and shelter to everyone within our reach, starting with residents of rural Maharashtra. Moreover,

Our mission at Sahayata is to create a better world built on the pillars of education, empowerment, and motivation. We arrange basic necessities needed for survival by arranging meal boxes for school kids and underprivileged children, taking charge of providing necessary goods and equipment on need basis for old age homes and the list goes on.

You educate a woman you educate a nation

We believe that financial freedom is an equally important means of basic survival for women. We hear of so many stories where women are stuck in unhappy situations, marriages and families they cannot get out of because they aren’t independent financially. Sahayata foundation is in the relentless pursuit of empowering women to an equal pedestal as all humans across races with the belief that everyone should be treated equally, irrespective of their caste, creed or gender.

At the end of the day, what drives us the most is the knowledge that one small step we take in empowering the children, women and other underprivileged people of our society can ripple and transform many lives for the better!
